Following the upgrade of the De Rosa Team from Veloce to Centaur and Chorus, I had enough spare parts, apart from a frame, to build a winter bike. I was fortunate to be able to buy a Trek 1500 Discovery frame sitting in the loft of a friends house. The bike was built on "Snow Day", February 2 2009. Shortly afterwards the Veloce crankset was replaced with a Race Face Cadence, which was going for a song on Wiggle.
