This projected started with the Aeos frameset unexpectedly found on the Evans website. Having purchased the frame, I quickly needed to get together suitable parts. As on previous projects, the intention was to start with what I already had. However, the completion of other recent projects - Trek 1500 winter training bike and Colnago Master Pista - plus the specialized nature of a TT bike meant I would need to purchase quite a few components.
I had used all my surplus Campagnolo equipment so needed to purchase more. I chose 2009 Veloce black due to budget constraints. The one luxury I allowed myself was Veloce-D Skeleton brakes. Fortunately the Dalkiia Six Zero wheeelset can be shared with the Specialized S-Works Tarmac.
